Contact

I’d love to hear from you. Here’s how to reach me, and a quick guide to which inbox is the right one.

Email Sarah directly

sarah@buyingformom.com — for anything personal, including:

  • Product suggestions (“we tried this and it worked / didn’t work”)
  • Article requests (“can you write about [X]?”)
  • Stories you’d like to share about your own family
  • Corrections or fact-checks (please send these — I take them seriously)
  • Brand or partnership inquiries

I read every email myself. I aim to reply within 5 business days, but if I’m slammed it may take longer. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Other inboxes

  • privacy@buyingformom.com — questions about how we handle your data, requests for data access or deletion, or anything related to our Privacy Policy
  • legal@buyingformom.com — questions about our Terms of Service, copyright concerns, or legal correspondence

What I cannot help with

I love hearing from readers, but please understand:

  • I cannot give medical, legal, or financial advice. For those, please talk to a qualified professional.
  • I cannot diagnose what is wrong with a product you bought elsewhere, or process returns. For that, contact the retailer (usually Amazon).
  • I cannot recommend specific brands of home health aides, assisted living facilities, or long-term care providers. That decision is too personal and too situation-specific for me to weigh in on by email.

If this is an emergency

If you or someone you’re caring for is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number). For elder abuse concerns in the US, the Eldercare Locator at 1-800-677-1116 can connect you to local resources.

I write this site from a desk in suburban Minneapolis. The kettle is usually on. — Sarah
